Aaron has a BS in Animal Sciencefrom Ohio State University and was a member of the OSU Livestock Judging Team where he gained valuable knowledge about livestock selection and evaluation. He’s been raising cattle for more than 50 years and finishing beef cattle on grass since 1999.

We’ve been mentoring several farm families as they build their business and we’d like to encourage more new farmers to join in this rewarding enterprise.  We’re available to consult with you or your staff in a number of areas including: layout of paddocks and watering systems, managing forages, developing an eye for finish quality, marketing, and business management best practices. 

Experience: We’ve grown our farm from 90 acres to more than 300 and our cattle herd from 2 to 140. Over the years we’ve stacked other species on top of our operation, tried many kinds of cover crops and forages, had successes and more failures but tried to learn from them all.
